Addressing the Impacts of De-globalization and Localization through Regionalization—An Exploration of the Regional Spatial Support System for High-level Opening-up
The rise of de-globalization has led to the prevalence of the"localized production"model globally. While influencing and impacting the global economic and industrial landscape,it has also had tremendous negative effects on China's economic development security, manifesting in declining total demand, supply threats, industrial system decline, increased competitive pressure, and other aspects. To address this,China must adhere to the"regionalization"development approach, tackling de-globalization and the"localized production"model from both domestic and international perspectives by establishing a spatial system of"base points, lines, planes, and bodies"capable of supporting a high-level strategy for opening-up to the outside world.Specifically, this requires adhering to a systematic regional economic layout as the foundation, leveraging a complementary urban economic system as the fulcrum, utilizing physical and virtual linear economies as carriers, focusing on deeply cooperative planar economies, and fundamentally ensuring the construction of a triple community of security, innovation, and mutual benefits.
