The Enhancement of the Food Supply Chain Resilience and the Optimization of the Spatial Layout of Production and Marketing
The resilience of the food supply chain is a key support for food security. With the study period from 2003 to 2022,this paper takes the establishment of grain production functional zones as the starting point for research, and combines the entropy value method with the Theil index method to measure the resilience of China's food supply chain in 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities).Owing to the sustained guarantee of the government's policies in supporting agriculture, the resilience level of the food supply chain in China has been continuously en-hanced,yet the growth rate has decelerated, and regional disparities have emerged and continued to widen. From the perspective of supply chain links, the circulation link is a crucial pillar for the resilience of the food supply chain.Un-der the nation's intense focus on the self-sufficiency rate of staple food, the weight of the storage link centered on sta-bilizing grain supply and demand is constantly escalating. The effect of science and technology in supporting agricul-ture is becoming increasingly prominent. However, the main driving force for improving the resilience level of China's grain supply chain still mainly relies on traditional production factors.Given this, this paper proposes measures to advance the optimization of grain production layout, improve and enhance agricultural infrastructure construction levels and compatibility, build a high-efficiency food security system, and enhance inter-regional cooperation among grain production functional zones, which are the preferred choices for continuously improving the resilience level of China's food supply chain.
