The Shuang'an site,located in Qishan County,Shaanxi Province,was excavated jointly by the School of Archaeology and Museology of Peking University,Shaanxi Academy of Archaeology,and Zhouyuan Museum of Qishan County from September 2013 to January 2014.The excavation focused on the southern and center parts of the Shuang'an site,uncovering a wide range of features including ash pits,burials,house foundations,kilns,and ash ditches.The excavation also yielded a substantial number of artifacts made of pottery,stone,bone and jade.This paper presents the major discoveries associated with the Late Yangshao Culture and Keshengzhuang Ⅱ Culture,enriching the archaeological materials the Shuang'an site.
