The Nanling Mausoleum of Empress Dowager Bo inherited the tomb system established by Empress Dowager Xuan and Empress Dowager Xia,who were interred separately from the emperors'tombs during the Warring States and Qin Dynasties.Additionally, the design of their tomb structures was also influenced by the burial practices of Empress Lv and Empress Dou,who were laid to rest alongside the emperors within the mausoleum parks of the early Han Dynasty. The mausoleum complex of these two tombs consists of a mausoleum park,a mausoleum town, and other components. At the core of the cemetery lies an'upside-down bucket-shaped'tumulus earth, together with aya-shaped underground tomb pit, alongside sacrificial pits and ceremonial buildings.Evidently, the construction of the tomb adhere closely to the regulations of the empresses'mausoleum.
