陕西神木石峁遗址皇城台墓地2022～2023年发掘简报

摘要
皇城台墓地位于石峁城址皇城台台顶西侧的缓坡上.至2023年底,共发现墓葬49座,以长方形竖穴土坑墓为主,可分为木棺、石棺和无棺墓三种,其中木棺墓数量最多,葬仪复杂,等级差异明显.皇城台墓地为目前所见石峁文化最高等级墓地,其发现与发掘为探讨河套地区龙山时代末期社会形态及石峁社会的文明化程度提供了重要的实物资料.
Abstract
The Huangchengtai cemetery is situated on the gentle slope western of the Huangchengtai locality of the Shimao site.By the end of 2023,a total of 49 tombs were uncovered,predominantly of rectangular vertical pit tombs.These tombs can be further categorized into three types:wooden coffin tombs,sarcophagus tombs,and coffin-less tombs.Wooden coffin tombs constitute the majority,featuring complex burial rituals with distinct hierarchical differences.As the highest-rank cemetery of the Shimao culture identified to date,the Huangchengtai cemetery provides crucial material evidence for investigating the social structure during the end of the Longshan era in the Hetao region and the civilization process of Shimao society.
