The Impact of Government Support and Executive Incentives on Corporate R&D Investment:Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis of Enterprises Listed on the Growth Enterprise Market
Factors that promote corporate R&D investment at the government and corporate levels Have received extensive attention from academia.However,However,The existing literature mostly fo-cuses on discussing the"net effect"of a single factor.And it is assumed that the factors are independent of each other,leading to inconsistent conclusions showing the effects of various factors on R&D invest-ment.This study use the Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis(fsQCA)method to analyze 104 high-tech companies listed on the Growth Enterprise Market.Explore the impact of the synergy of ma-jor factors at the government and enterprise levels on R&D investment.The results show,There are six different paths that can lead to high R&D investment in high-tech enterprises,And can be summa-rized into three models:enterprise-led,government-driven and joint-driven.Among them,the enter-prise-led type is the most common form of incentive.Among them,the enterprise-led type is the most common path of influence.The research conclusion provides a new interpretation of the contradiction of the influence of various factors from the perspective of the synergy of various factors affecting R&D in-vestment.It provides a reference example for start-up companies to screen out suitable executive incen-tives based on government support.
