Research on Enterprise Resource Action and Performance Evolution under the Framework of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem:An Empirical Model with Entrepreneurial Ability as An Intermediary Variable
Under the influence of new venture disadvantage and resource dilemma,start-ups tend to choose to embed in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to obtain the resources needed for their own growth and achieve their own development through further resource actions.Taking the different periods of the growth of start-ups as the stage division, this paper uses the framework of structure-action-perform-ance'to analyze the dependence structure, resource actions and performance changes of start-ups in dif-ferent periods. The results show that in the start-up period, the joint dependence of start-up enterprises is low and the asymmetric dependence is high.Enterprises obtain resources through resource bricolage;in the growth stage,start-ups have initially established a foothold, and the asymmetric dependence has decreased with the increase of joint dependence.Start-ups improve entrepreneurial performance through further resource orchestration actions;in the development period,start-ups have a relatively sufficient combination of resources, and both joint dependence and asymmetric dependence have been reduced.Start-ups reconfigure and combine resources through resource reconstruction actions to achieve perform-ance growth. The empirical study also finds that entrepreneurship plays an intermediary role between re-source action and entrepreneurial performance, and further reveals the path mechanism and internal mechanism of entrepreneurial performance growth from the perspective of resource action.
