How does Entrepreneurial Education Affect College Students'Intention to Engage in Micro-entrepreneurship
Encouraging college students to start their own businesses has become a feasible way to alle-viate the pressure of university employment and promote economic development.The emergence of mi-cro-entrepreneurship model,which relies on the Internet platform,has provided college students with a feasible entrepreneurial direction due to its low-cost and low-risk advantages.The present study,based on a structural equation model,explores the impact of entrepreneurship education on college students'intention to participate in micro-entrepreneurship.Through an analysis of self-oriented and other-oriented motivations,it identifies potential influencing mechanisms.The findings suggest that entrepreneurship education significantly enhances the intention to micro-entrepreneurship process,and this influence can be mediated through autonomy and a sense of meaning.This finding not only further deepens our understanding of the mechanisms of impact in entrepreneurship education but also enriches self-determination theory and motivation theory.This finding also offers some managerial insights for universities.
