This paper discusses the promoting effect of digital economy on the optimization and upgra-ding of industrial structure and the mechanism behind it.Principal component analysis (pca) is used to measure the level of digital economy and estimate the impact of digital economy on the optimization and upgrading of urban industrial structure in China.The study found that:first,digital economy will affect the rationalization and high-level of industrial structure to promote the upgrading of urban industrial structure.Second,the digital economy has population size for the influence of urban industrial structure upgrade heterogeneity.On this basis,puts forward the government should accelerate the construction of digital,reasonable distribution of digital resources,focus on cultivating inter-disciplinary talent etc.Countermeasures and Suggestions.
