Will the Emergence of ChatGPT Make Workers Unemployed?Analysis Based on Labor Value Theory
Based on Marx's labor theory of value,this paper studies the role of strong artificial intelli-gence ChatGPT in the labor market.Through the review of the history of artificial intelligence develop-ment and the in-depth analysis of ChatGPT,it is revealed that the emergence of ChatGPT is not to replace human labor,but as a tool to improve production efficiency and quality of life.Further research found that the impact of ChatGPT on the labor market is multifaceted and far-reaching,including in-dustry changes,changes in employment opportunities,and demand for new skills for workers.At the same time,the idea of finding and realizing the best human-machine cooperation mode under the premise of protecting the labor value of workers is proposed.Through analysis,it is concluded that ChatGPT will not replace human labor,but will give birth to new forms of labor and help humans and machines create value together.This provides new perspectives and guidance for understanding the im-pact of AI on the labour market,as well as for policymaking and industry leaders.
