To reveal the underlying logic of college students'entrepreneurial intentions and the role of entrepreneurship education and competitions against the backdrop of current global economic pres-sures,a conceptual model of college students'entrepreneurial intentions set against the backdrop of en-trepreneurship competitions was constructed. This model was analyzed and validated using tests of me-diating and moderating effects. The results show that entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a significant mediating role between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intentions, while entrepreneur-ship competitions demonstrate a significant positive moderating effect. These findings not only reveal the internal mechanisms of college students'entrepreneurial intentions but also validate the positive im-pact of university-held entrepreneurship competitions on student entrepreneurship education. They pro-vide empirical evidence for further implementation of entrepreneurial practice activities and offer signif-icant theoretical support for the practice and policy formulation in entrepreneurship education.
