Based on the data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2021,this paper empirically exam-ines the direct,indirect and spatial spillover effects of the digital economy on agricultural quality by u-sing a two-way fixed-effect model and a spatial econometric model.The results show that:First,the digital economy as a whole can drive the high-quality development of agriculture,and rural entrepre-neurship is an important mechanism.Second,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the digital economy in the eastern and central regions is more effective in promoting the high-quality development of agri-culture than in the western region.Third,there is a significant spatial spillover effect on the impact of the digital economy on the high-quality development of agriculture.
