The implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)has in-jected new impetus into promoting regional economic integration and breaking down digital barriers.Under President Xi Jinping's advocacy of global digital governance,China strictly follows the relevant provisions of the RCEP,but still faces difficulties such as inconsistencies between the cross-border data flow system and the relevant provisions of the RCEP,serious digital security problems,and a weak dig-ital regulatory system.Therefore,China should further improve the coordination between RCEP and relevant domestic laws,establish and improve the digital security mechanism and digital supervision system,so as to better comply with the rules of RCEP and make full preparations for joining the Com-prehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership(CPTPP)and the Digital Econo-my Partnership Agreement(DEPA)in the future.
