Innovative Teaching Design and Practice of Financial Engineering Driven by Data under the New Liberal Arts Background
With the introduction of the new liberal arts educational background,the field of financial en-gineering is facing unprecedented teaching opportunities and challenges.This paper discusses how to in-novate the teaching design and practice of financial engineering in the context of the new liberal arts,focusing on the characteristics of data-driven teaching.The educational reform emphasizes interdisci-plinary integration,practical application,and data and technology-driven approaches.The new teach-ing design is elaborated from four aspects:teaching objectives and core skills,practical application,da-ta ethics and privacy,and programming and skill acquisition.Regarding innovative practical applica-tions,the design is approached from three dimensions:simulated trading platforms,data analysis competitions,and case-based teaching.
