A Study on the Impact of Digital Government on Green Technology Innovation in Manufacturing Industry
Panel data of 29 provinces in China from 2017 to 2021 are selected to study the impact and mechanism of digital government on green technology innovation in manufacturing industry.The re-sults show that:①Digital government construction has a positive direct impact on manufacturing green technology innovation;②Digital government promotes manufacturing green technology innovation through data embedding,institutional constraints,research and development subsidies and other effects;③There are regional differences in the promotion of digital government construction in the manufacturing industry in green technology innovation,there is a significant positive impact on the eastern region,while in the central and western regions of the influence is relatively weak.There are differences in the role of digital government construction in promoting green technological innovation in the manufacturing industry under different types of innovation,and digital government construction strongly promotes enterprises'strategic green technological innovation,but has no obvious impact on substantive innovation behavior.Therefore,digital government construction in different regions should be strengthened in a targeted manner,focusing on the policy leadership of green technological innova-tion,in order to fully release the potential of digital government in promoting the green transformation of the manufacturing industry.
