Research on the Relationship between Government Venture Capital and Innovation:Visual Analysis Based on Bibliometrics
As an emerging financing model,Government Venture Capital(GVC)took an important role in promoting innovation practices.Based on the 273 CSSCI and Peking University core national journal papers included in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,I adopted the CiteSpace to identify the knowledge clustering and research network of the relationship between gov-ernment venture capital and innovation,and to grasp its research trends,then pointed out current topi-cal issues and future research directions.I believe that the research on the relationship between Chinese government venture capital and innovation has the following characteristics since 1999:①The study has shown a continuous upward trend,but the overall publication volume is not high;②The research commenced late,the research force is dispersed,and the research is not deep enough;③The research is greatly influenced by the development of national policies and practices;④The research field is mainly management science.Based on this,I put forward the research prospect of expanding the con-cept of"innovation"and introducing the national innovation system for the in-depth theoretical discus-sion.
