Research on the Impact of Digital Economy on Urban Green Innovation:Based on Data from 281 Chinese Cities at the Prefecture Level and Above
The digital economy,as an emerging economic form,is gradually changing the urban devel-opment model.The entropy method was used to measure the level of urban digital economy,and based on panel data of 281 prefecture level and above cities from 2011 to 2019,the impact of digital economy on urban green innovation was examined from the perspective of green innovation.The research results indicate that:① the digital economy can significantly promote urban green innovation capabilities;②Entrepreneurial activity and education level as mechanism variables play a mediating role in the impact of digital economy on urban green innovation;(3)The impact of the digital economy on urban green in-novation is most significant in the eastern region,followed by the central region,and has the smallest impact in the western region.Based on research findings,it is proposed to strengthen the construction of digital economy infrastructure and increase investment in education and entrepreneurship,in order to provide reference for promoting high-quality economic development.
