The research on the issue of"patent paradox"has revealed the transformation of the logic and form of enterprise patent competition from individual patents to combination patents,which fundamen-tally determines the changes in the value structure of patents.The value of patent combination far ex-ceeds the sum of individual patent values.The unique structural characteristics of patent portfolios,such as relevance,scale,and diversity,are the externalization of competitive strategies and are effec-tive indicators for scientifically identifying and evaluating the value of patent portfolios.This article sys-tematically reviews relevant research literature at home and abroad from three dimensions:the conno-tation,characteristics,and evaluation methods of patent portfolio value,theoretically clarify the con-notation and structural characteristics of patent portfolio value,in order to provide reference for opti-mizing patent portfolio evaluation methods in practice.
