Cultivating high-quality scientific research and innovation talents is the key to graduate edu-cation in China.In order to evaluate the scientific research and innovation ability of graduate students in economics and management more comprehensively,the evaluation system of graduate students’scien-tific research and innovation ability is constructed from four dimensions:innovative thinking,innovative practice,innovative achievements,and innovative demonstration,in combination with the characteris-tics of graduate students in economics and management,and accordingly evaluates the current status of graduate students＇scientific research.The results show that the scientific research and innovation ability of graduate students is weak as a whole,and the innovative thinking and innovation practice reach the upper middle level,but the innovation achievements are few and the quality is poor,indicating that the implementation of innovative achievements on innovative thinking is poor.According to the evaluation results,suggestions are put forward from four aspects:individual students,tutors’guidance,curricu-lum setting and school atmosphere,so as to provide reference for cultivating scientific research and in-novation talents of graduate students in economics and management.
