The study takes Gansu Province as the object,extracts evaluation indicators through text a-nalysis of the government documents on optimizing the business environment in Gansu Province,sup-plements the indicators based on literature and the situation in Gansu Province,and innovatively uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and the Entropy Weight Method(EWM)for combined weigh-ting.Finally,a business environment evaluation system for Gansu Province is constructed with market environment,digital government environment,legal policy environment,innovation environment,in-frastructure environment,and ecological environment as indicators.After substituting the indicator da-ta of 14 cities and prefectures in Gansu Province,the business environment of each city and prefecture and the overall business environment of Gansu Province are analyzed,providing a scientific basis and suggestions for the optimization of the business environment in Gansu Province,which helps to en-hance the economic competitiveness and sustainable development capacity of Gansu Province.
