Research on the Coupling and Coordination of Digital Economy Development and Smart City Construction;Based on Panel Data from 98 Pilot Prefecture-Level Cities in China
Based on the data of 98 smart city pilot panels in China from 2012 to 2020 as samples,this paper constructs a rating index system for digital economy development and smart city construction,and uses coupling coordination degree model and obstacle degree model to measure the coupling coordi-nation level,dynamic evolution trend and obstacle factors between digital economy and smart city.The factors affecting coupling coordination were explored with OLS model.The results show that the cou-pling coordination level of the overall digital economy and smart city in China is rising steadily from 2012 to 2020,and the development situation is optimistic;The difference of the overall coupling coor-dination in China is gradually reduced,but there is a significant polarization or multipolar differentia-tion in the northeast region.The overall unbalanced level of coupling and coordination development in China has gradually decreased,and the regional differences are mainly in the super-density.The varia-tion of intra-regional difference contribution is relatively stable,and the overall level is much lower than the inter-regional contribution and super-density.Finally,it puts forward some suggestions on the coupling coordination of digital economy and smart city from the aspects of digital economy develop-ment,smart city construction and coupling coordination.
