Review of DIKWP application research for human-machine integration
As the importance of artificial intelligence(AI)governance grows in prominence, questions, such as how to achieve reliable, trustworthy, and explainable AI,and how to improve transparency and accountability of AI systems, have become key topics. This paper details the research progress of the data, information, knowledge, wisdom, and purpose(DIKWP)model of multi-domain human-computer fusion and the role of the DIKWP model in the cognitive interactions of artificial consciousness. It elucidates the significance of constructing a bi-directional interpretable, trustworthy, and responsible AI system. Then,it discusses how to realize effective mapping from subjective inner cognition to objective outer expression of interacting subjects by using the DIKWP model in a multi-domain context. How can one build a problem-oriented,intent-driven technological framework to address the opacity of decision-making in AI systems, thereby visualizing the interaction and comparing it with existing technologies? Finally,it foresees the great potential of the DIKWP model to break through the limitations of natural language semantics such as incompleteness, inconsistency, and imprecision,to promote the development of AI and society, and to enhance the ethical and moral standards of AI to provide a theoretical basis and a practical path to solve the critical challenge in governance of AI.
