In order to solve the problem of poor talent cultivation and weak students'engineering practice ability in the specialized course"Urban Road and Transport Planning"of Urban and Rural Planning Major,the course teaching plan has been redesigned.By reorganizing the teaching content,arranging the teaching sequence reasonably,cooperating with various teaching methods,and adding practical teaching links,the teaching effect of the course has been significantly improved.In classroom teaching,students'study attitudes are changed positively.Through implementing the new curriculum teaching plan,students'professional knowledge has been expanded wider and deeper,the knowledge has been mastered stronger,their teamwork and engineering practice ability has improved significantly.Comparing the teaching plans of"design first"and"plan first",the teaching effect of"design first"teaching plan is better.
