Analysis of the Effectiveness of OBE Concept Combined with PBL Teaching Method in the Cultivation of Oncology Graduate Students
Objective:To compare the effect of OBE combined with PBL teaching method and traditional teaching method in the training of graduate students in oncology.Methods:A total of 60 graduate students majoring in oncology in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University were randomly selected and divided into two groups:the combined group of OBE and PBL teaching method and the traditional group,with 30 students in each group.The differences in test scores,independent learning ability and self-efficacy were compared between the two groups.Results:The average score of the traditional group(80.63±6.44)was lower than that of the combined group(86.87±5.78),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison results of self-learning ability and self-efficacy showed that the self-learning ability and self-efficacy of the combined group were significantly better than those of the traditional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the traditional teaching method,the combination of OBE and PBL teaching method can improve the academic performance of oncology graduate students and increase their learning initiative.
