Research and Practice on Cultivating Innovative Talents in New Agricultural Science——Taking Agriculture College/Tree Peony College of Henan University of Science and Technology as an Example
The construction of new agricultural science has put forward new goals and new requirements for the cultivation of agricultural talents in colleges and universities in China.This article analyzed the mission of agricultural universities in the new era for cultivating innovative talents in new agricultural sciences.Taking the cultivation of new agricultural talents in the Agricultural College/Tree Peony College of Henan University of Science and Technology as an example,this paper elaborated on the foundation of cultivating innovative talents in new agricultural sciences from the perspectives of disciplinary advantages,professional characteristics,training plans,curriculum construction,practical teaching,teaching research,and industry education collaboration;The channels for cultivating innovative talents in new agricultural sciences have been clarified from the perspectives of creating a talent cultivation platform that integrates production and education,constructing a talent cultivation model based on research topics,and establishing a talent cultivation path that serves rural revitalization.
