At present,high school English writing teaching is not only an important manifestation of cultivating high school students'comprehensive English literacy,but also one of the important issues that high school English teaching should pay attention to.Based on this,the author,based on the characteristics of high school students'English learning and combined with recent high school English writing teaching practices,elaborates on the connotation of current high school English writing teaching practices and the important significance of improving the effectiveness of high school English writing teaching.The author analyzes the main problems in current high school English writing teaching,proposes innovative writing teaching models,attaches importance to the writing process,pays attention to writing evaluation,and fully excavates textbook resources to enhance the effectiveness of writing teaching,various improvement strategies such as promoting writing through reading,activating writing thinking,and implementing diversified writing evaluation methods are implemented to optimize the writing teaching process,enhance the effectiveness of writing teaching,and effectively and orderly promote the development of high school students'core English subject literacy.
