A Chronological Study on the Content Validity of College Entrance Examination English Reading Comprehension Test Based on Curriculum Standards——Analyzing the Zhejiang College Entrance Examination English Test Paper from 2018 to 2023
Based on the theory of test task characteristics proposed by Bachman and Palmer,combined with the core competency goals of the curriculum standards,this article analyzes it from two aspects:discourse input and expected response,exploring the proposition characteristics and content validity of English reading comprehension tests in Zhejiang Province in the past six years.Research has found that in the past six years,the quality of the reading comprehension questions in the college entrance examination in Zhejiang Province has been good,with high content validity.However,there is insufficient balance in the examination of discourse types and language comprehension skills,and the difficulty level of individual test papers is unreasonable.
