Research and Practice on Cultivating English Reading Ability of College Students in the New Situation
In order to cater to the new situation of educational reform and meet the new requirements of educational development,updating the teaching philosophy of college English has become an inevitable trend.This article analyzes the role of cultivating English reading skills among college students under the new situation,and specifically studies its importance and necessity.At the same time,based on the language foundation,knowledge system,reading habits,and emotional issues of cultivating English reading ability among college students under the new situation,we will explore and practice from the perspectives of strengthening vocabulary and grammar teaching,teaching infiltration,teaching guidance,teaching innovation,and teaching context construction,in order to help college students better master English reading skills and improve their English reading literacy.
