Practice and Evaluation of Blended Teaching Mode for Chemical Engineering Principles
The course of Chemical Engineering Principles in the University of Agriculture and Forest has many knowledge points and less class hours, which result in the insufficient cultivation of practical ability. In this paper,a blended teaching mode for Chemical Engineering Principles was designed and practiced, and the evaluation of effectiveness was studied. The results of comparative experimental research indicate that the blended teaching model has a good impact on the learning for students. The average score, pass rate, and excellent rate of students in the experiment class are significantly higher than those in the control class.Learning online has a promoting effect on learning offline. The survey by questionnaire was employed to study the evaluation of online platforms, online teaching resources, teaching modes, and self-participation completion. The results of interview also showed that students were relatively satisfied with the blended teaching mode, with an overall satisfaction rate of 97.5%.
