Application of CBL Teaching Based on CTU Format in Standardized Training of Pediatric Resident Physicians
Objective:To explore the application effect of Case Based Learning(CBL)based on Clinical Teaching Units(CTU)in standardized training for pediatric resident physicians.Method:Students who participated in standardized training for pediatric resident physicians in affiliated hospitals from August 2019 to July 2021 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.The control group used traditional teaching methods,while the experimental group used a CBL teaching model based on CTU format.The teaching effects of the two teaching methods on standardized training for pediatric resident physicians were compared.Result:The theoretical scores and Mini CEX assessment scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group.The experimental group was more satisfied with training methods,comprehensive abilities,clinical thinking improvement,and overall training satisfaction than the control group.Conclusion:The CBL teaching model based on CTU format can significantly improve the clinical thinking and comprehensive abilities of resident training physicians.
