The current situation of science education in rural primary schools has some problems,such as the small proportion of full-time science teachers,the low professional level of teachers,and the substandard curriculum offering."Strong education must first strengthen teachers",in order to better improve the status of science education in rural primary schools,first of all need to cultivate a group of professional level,go,stay rural primary school science teachers.This paper through the analysis of rural directional general normal can be used as a supplementary source of primary school science teachers,and put forward the strategy of improving scientific literacy:such as setting science curriculum system,change the traditional teaching mode,play the course education function,fusion"college-primary school"curriculum content,pay attention to experimental teaching,improve scientific comprehensive practice ability,etc.,in order to rural directional general normal students can assume the burden of rural primary school science education,help rural revitalization.
