Objective:To explore the mediating role of psychological capital between mindfulness and academic procrastination among vocational nursing students.Method:A general information questionnaire,a college student academic procrastination questionnaire,a five factor mindfulness scale,and a positive psychological capital questionnaire were used to test 500 vocational nursing students.Result:The correlation analysis showed that the mindfulness of vocational nursing students was significantly positively correlated with the total score of psychological capital(r=-0.55,P<0.01),and significantly negatively correlated with the total score of academic procrastination(r=-0.41,P<0.01).The total score of academic procrastination was significantly negatively correlated with the total score of psychological capital(r=-0.38,P<0.01).Psychological capital partially mediates the relationship between mindfulness and academic procrastination,with a mediation effect of-0.138.Conclusion:Mindfulness can directly predict academic procrastination,or indirectly predict academic procrastination through psychological capital,which has certain inspiration for improving the quality of training for vocational nursing students.
