Under the background of the new era,it is necessary to pay more attention to the development of students'inner psychological quality to train new people with ideal,ability and responsibility.Based on this,this paper analyzes the significance of mental health education in colleges and universities and the factors that restrict its development.It believes that the current constraints on the development of mental health education in colleges and universities mainly include the imperfect mechanism of mental health education,the single form of mental health education,and the imperfect support of teachers.Innovate the teaching mode,enrich the form of education;Some suggestions are put forward to improve the professional quality and optimize the structure of teachers in order to help the further development of mental health education practice in colleges and universities in the new era.
