Cultivating students'English reading ability is a key focus of vocational English teaching.Reading is also a basic and important skill for students who use English as a second language.The improvement of students'reading ability can drive the improvement of their grades in other subjects.The author used methods such as survey questionnaires and classroom teaching experiments to investigate and test the application of language,content,and formal schemas by students in the reading process,pointing out the relationship between schema theory and vocational English reading teaching,and exploring the inspiration and application of schema theory in vocational English reading teaching.
