On the basis of elaborating on the current situation of biochemistry education and teaching in application-oriented undergraduate universities,this paper analyzed the urgency and necessity of the reform of biochemistry course assessment,summarized the main forms of biochemistry course assessment,including exams,experimental reports,research papers,group discussions and presentations,classroom participation and homework,and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the above biochemistry course assessment forms from the perspectives of students and teachers.Targeted suggestions and reform directions for the examination methods of biochemistry course were proposed,providing method references for more comprehensive and accurate evaluation of course teaching quality,assessment of students'knowledge level mastery,and exercise of practical ability and problem-solving ability.
