Exploring the Path of Ideological and Political Construction in Comprehensive Business English Curriculum from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence
In the context of the new liberal arts,cultivating outstanding talents with a global perspective,cross-cultural communication skills,and critical thinking is the important task of business English majors in universities.However,due to the particularity of the subject,Business English majors are taught in English,with courses introducing Western culture dominating.Most teachers have experience studying abroad or visiting,and this group is greatly influenced by Western culture.Therefore,the construction of ideological and political education in the curriculum is imperative and cannot be delayed.The article takes the core course of Comprehensive Business English as the research object,and analyzes the problems in curriculum design,students,and teaching in detail.It attempts to explore the implementation path of integrating traditional Chinese culture into teaching from the perspective of cultural confidence,aiming to provide useful reference for the ideological and political construction of the Business English professional curriculum group.
