Sudden public emergencies pose severe threats to campus security and social stability.It is an important political responsibility borne by the Party Committee of the university as well as an indispensability in performing university's fundamental mission of fostering virtue that universities should strengthen ideological and political education for students in the context of sudden public emergencies.Based on the construction of a three-dimensional model of students'ideological and political education under sudden public emergencies,this paper systematically expounds the basic ideas and important principles of how the work should be carried out,and proposes multi-dimensional response strategies from four aspects:emergency handling and long-term development,ideological guidance and behavior control,team building and team forging,party construction leadership and supervision and inspection.
