One of the main goals of the rural revitalization strategy is to effectively improve the level of rural governance.Virtue governance in rural areas is one of the main contents of rural governance,which is closely linked to rural revitalization.At present,the construction of moral governance in rural areas is facing many difficulties,such as inadequate work in moral governance,loss of local elites,low moral standards of left behind villagers,and weakened role of excellent traditional moral culture in rural areas.In the new era,local universities have the functional requirements of social services.As the first battlefield for local talent cultivation,cultural inheritance,and innovation,they have unique advantages in supporting the construction of rural moral governance.Local universities should play a good role in their own moral education,integrate resources,actively research rural moral governance work,jointly carry out moral education activities,tap into local moral and cultural resources,and assist in the construction of rural moral governance.The article explores the path of local universities assisting in the construction of rural moral governance.
