This paper evaluates the teaching effectiveness of econometrics courses using the final grades of International Economics and Trade majors at Yanbian University's School of Economics and Management as the evaluation indicator.Through a questionnaire survey, the study investigates students'learning situations and identifies issues such as insufficient class hours, unreasonable course scheduling, inadequate foundational knowledge among students, lack of comprehensiveness in teaching content and methods, and an imbalance in exam scoring percentages with a single assessment method.Based on the analysis results, the paper provides recommendations related to the reform of the econometrics teaching model, considering perspectives such as course scheduling, teaching methods, teaching content, and assessment methods.
