The article investigates the current situation of primary school mathematics teachers in the northwest region of Yunnan Province integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into their teaching.It is found that teachers have a moderate level of belief and knowledge integration,and their integration ability urgently needs to be improved.At the same time,influenced by factors such as ethnicity,age,professional title,and region,the degree of integration shows different differences and characteristics,And various measures are proposed to promote the sustainable and healthy development of integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into primary school mathematics education.
