A Comparative Study on the Teaching Effects of Flipped Mode and Traditional ModeReading Teaching Based on English Sentence Understanding
Reading skills are the focus of high school English teaching.This study starts with sentence teaching and applies flipped mode to English reading comprehension teaching.By comparing the teaching effects of flipped mode and traditional mode,it explores whether flipped mode can more effectively enhance high school students'mastery of English knowledge and improve their reading ability.The research results indicate that in terms of language knowledge mastery,flipped teaching characterized by problem-solving is more effective than traditional models,because students can receive timely feedback on problems and doubts during practice;In terms of improving reading ability,there is no significant difference between the two teaching modes.Improving reading ability not only requires mastering language knowledge,but also understanding the background of the reading text,students'knowledge,and the development of cognitive thinking ability.The research results confirm that the classroom atmosphere under flipped teaching mode receives unanimous praise from the majority of students.
