As a compulsory course in the field of food quality and safety,"Food Standards and Regulations"will play a crucial role in cultivating professionals with awareness of regulations,industry norms,and quality and safety levels.It is expected to promote the development of China's food industry towards a safer,more standardized,and more technological direction.With the increasing attention of the people to food safety,policies and regulations in the food industry are constantly being updated,and the importance of"food standards and regulations"is further highlighted.Therefore,the teaching reform of this course is imperative.Faced with challenges such as rapid regulatory updates,interdisciplinary nature,lack of practicality,and shortage of internationalization,the teaching reform of the"Food Standards and Regulations"course needs to start from adapting to industrial needs,improving student competitiveness,promoting technological innovation,strengthening international cooperation,and improving disciplinary integration,ultimately cultivating talents who can fully understand food standards and regulations,in order to better cope with the complex and changing challenges of the food industry.
