In today's society,cultivating top-notch innovative talents has become an inevitable measure to build an innovative country,and it is also an important channel for universities to cultivate elite talents as higher education enters the popularization stage.China has been exploring the practice of cultivating top-notch innovative talents in honor colleges since 1978,and has achieved certain results to this day.However,it still faces practical problems such as a single and narrow selection standard for students,serious flat quality of students,traditional limitations in talent training models,and lagging international cooperation in training construction,which restrict the quality of cultivating top-notch innovative talents.In this regard,universities should take effective measures to optimize the top-notch innovative talent training model of Honor College,and cultivate elite talents for the future construction and development of the country.
