Practical teaching has become an important measure for cultivating innovative talents in the field of Internet of Things engineering.This study used CiteSpace software to visually analyze the literature on practical teaching research in IoT engineering from 2013 to 2023 in the CNKI database.Through keyword clustering knowledge graph and high-frequency keyword statistics,the focus of current research on practical teaching in IoT engineering in China was sorted out.Taking the Internet of Things Engineering major at Yantai University as an example,this paper analyzes the practical path of integrating theory,practical teaching,and scientific research innovation from the perspectives of teaching reform concepts,training systems,etc.,which is of great significance for the construction of a first-class major in Internet of Things engineering from the perspective of new engineering disciplines.
