With the development of information technology,the popularity of new media,such as the Internet,social platforms and digital media,has greatly changed the way students acquire information and knowledge.This change presents new challenges and opportunities for history teaching.The rich resources and interactive forms provided by new media make history teaching more diversified,but at the same time,it also brings challenges to information quality and value orientation.Therefore,educators need to make correct use of new media in history teaching,guide students to understand and absorb historical knowledge and its underlying value orientation,actively innovate teaching methods and improve the quality of teaching resources,ensure the effective integration of socialist core values,and promote the comprehensive development of students.
