As future healthcare workers,medical students with good professional ethics and strong employability are necessary conditions for facing severe employment situations and realizing their self-worth.Based on the current situation and existing problems of professional competence and employment ability of medical college students,this article focuses on the characteristics of medical college students and the importance and feasibility of ideological and political education in improving their professional competence and employment ability from the perspective of ideological and political education.It adopts a new perspective to explore new methods and approaches to enhance the professional competence and employment ability of medical students in the new era,allowing them to have a comprehensive understanding of themselves and accurately analyze themselves,thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
