Exploration of the Reform of the"Hydraulics"Course System in Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering
"Hydraulics"is a fundamental course for undergraduate majors in Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering in higher education institutions. It is the foundation for students to learn subsequent professional courses and a subject for postgraduate entrance exams of universities.Combined with the characteristics of the course, this article takes the teaching experience of hydraulics as an example for improving teaching quality. The problems were analyzed about the teaching content, teaching methods, experimental course and course assessment, while knowledge points that could be combined and improved were explored. The purpose is to consolidate basic knowledge, improve the application ability of students, scientific research thinking, and innovation ability of hydraulics knowledge. As a result, the supporting role of the course in the knowledge and ability system of water supply and drainage science and engineering hope to enhance, and ultimately achieve the integration of water mechanics knowledge.
