Blended teaching has become an important direction of curriculum reform in universities at home and abroad.This paper takes"synthetic biology"course as an example to explore and practice blended teaching.Through construction of online teaching resources,case teaching,flipped classroom teaching,curriculum ideology and politics construction,thematic debate introduction and other blended teaching methods and assessment mode reform,students have a deeper understanding of the basic theories and frontier research technologies of synthetic biology,and their independent learning ability was distinctly improved,thus good teaching effect was achieved.
