Exploring Teaching Reforms in Mathematics Software Courses Using Project-Based Learning
Traditional teaching models in mathematics software courses have primarily focused on the transmission and mastery of knowledge, while largely overlooking the cultivation of students'practical application and innovation skills.Project-based learning,as a teaching strategy that promotes the development of practical application and innovative abilities, offers a new perspective and pathway for the transformation of mathematics education. This paper discusses the application of project-based learning in the reform of mathematics software courses. It emphasizes nurturing students'abilities to apply what they learn in real-world contexts and to think innovatively. The curriculum includes mathematical modeling competition problems as practical training projects, the writing of MATLAB live scripts as accompanying exercises in class, and incorporates the flipped classroom teaching model to help students understand theoretical knowledge more deeply and master the necessary application skills.
