Analyzing the learning situation and finding the learning gap of students are the key steps in teaching.This paper analyzes the English argumentative writing difficulties of college students with the help of"UDig"diagnostic assessment.Based on the micro-skills description of'UDig"diagnostic assessment,this paper proposes the teaching plan of argumentative writing from three aspects of content,structure and language of the enabling process of POA so as to solve the weaknesses of students'writing skill,thus improving students'English argumentative writing skill and providing reference for college English argumentative writing teaching.
